Puerto Rico

In February 2019, a group of 14 from our church went on a mission trip to Puerto Rico for a week. The 8th graders from the Northwest SDA Church School along with adult volunteers repaired and painted the Seventh Day Adventist Church located in Rincon, Puerto Rico.

For 5 days on the mission trip, the group worked hard painting the church, the sign, and fencing throughout the property.

Friendly Visitors

Although the team worked hard throughout the day, the church had many visitors feasting on the vegetation nearby. Puerto Rico has many Iguanas throughout the country.

Trying New Foods

The group had plenty of opportunities to try different foods and fruits. The Pastor of the Rincon church was generous enough to have us try foods such as starfruit and passion fruit!
